In my own understanding, Human Resource Management is included in the BSCS/BSIT curriculum because it helps us understand our roles in the industry after we finish our course. It gives us knowledge on how to be a responsible employee someday and be aware of the responsibilities, rights, benefits and personnel policies which conform to current regulations. It would also give us ideas what are the qualifications for a certain job. We’ll know the problems that may occur in a work place and how to overcome it. This subject would prepare us in the working environment we’ll be dealing with in the near future.

I agree with what you said.. some of us thought that HRM is not needed in our course because as an It student, we were only ask to manipulate computers. But that's not true, because HRM is really essential to all of us especially in job-seeking.. nice job! Kudos!(congratulations)
..yep.. knowing your role in the industry you will soon enter is a must.
